Don't be stupid!!

Our city got its first snowfall last week. Since then, I've helped "push" all kinds of cars and trucks out of their slippery ruts maybe 4 or 5 times. They were stuck halfway up a hill, in the parking lot, on the curb at work, yada yada. (Yeah, I'm such a nice person). But you know what? All of them had summer tires!! Sheesh! It's not that I'm all annoyed about me getting involved and helping to push them out...it's just that these cars could be potential risk factors for accidents that can harm people. What if they go out of control - while driving or even while trying to safely stop at a stop sign? They could hit innocent pedestrians - like children playing outside or even other innocent drivers. Man oh man...don't be stupid, guys! If you can't afford the tires, take the taxi or public transportation!
